PCL40

Primatics PCL40 Series linear positioning stages are our most compact linear guide bearing stages. Frameless Motor

Perfect where stage length is a concern, the PCL40 frameless motor option is a brushless servo motor mounted directly onto the ballscrew, eliminating the need for a motor coupler. This reduces the footprint of the stage, while improving dynamic response.

NEMA-17 In-Line Motor

The in-line version of the PCL40 accepts standard English NEMA 17-frame step and servo motors. Because the motor mount is designed so its lower surface stays inside the cross-section of the positioner, the PCL40 can be mounted directly to a flat surface. An optional adapter enables a NEMA 23 motor to be mounted in place of a NEMA 17.

X,Y Configurations

Two PCL40s can be directly stacked in an X,Y configuration without the need of an adaptor plate. The total stack height is just 80mm.

Optical Breadboard Compatible

The PCL40 Series can be directly mounted to either an English or Metric pattern optical breadboard without the use of adapters. An optional English or Metric tabletop is also available for the mounting of lab equipment to the stage.
